Cabinets 101 : How to Install a Drawer

To install a drawer such as a Zargen slide, make sure you line up the sides with the slide wheels evenly, using screws that won't poke all the way through the sides of the drawer and cause damage. View a professional demonstration in this free video on home built-ins.

My drawers are able to close, but slightly bind after the drawer are installed 3/4 of the way in. What is causing the binding issue?

You helped a lot but I'm still trying to find out how to measure the door slides to the cabinet so the top of the drawer is flat with the top of the cabinet! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Lost I have 2 holes one is to high one is to low!! LOL I don't want to put another hole in the wrong place! It would be a mess, and maybe wouldn't ever get my slider in because to many holes! Goodness Me!

Very informative! Have you tried using rubber bumpers in the corners of the drawers? It quiets the drawer from slamming

I've finished an IKEA furniture but the drawer just won't go in.. it's built fine it just repels back and doesn't want to lock in.. really annoying ><

Mine works too. I used woodprix plans and build it without any problems.
