Just want to point out a quick trick for problems like these is to pay attention to the last digit, it being a 5, meaning one of our numbers has to end in a 5 or be 5 and given the area and the equation (7x-4)x=155 its pretty quick to see that x is indeed 5 because a bigger number wouldn’t work and 1 wouldn’t satisfy the equation

Was there any other method to solve this besides going down the quadratic equation route?
