Use the form
x²-(s1+s2)x+(s1s2)=0


Where s1+s2= sum of roots and s1s2= product of roots (area of rectangle)

Since the Perimeter is twice the sum of roots (i.e. 44), then s1+s2= 22

By substitution from the equation above, we get

x²-22x+72=0

Finally, by factoring, we get

(x-18)(x-4)

The dimensions are

L= 18 in²
W= 4 in²
