It's not about how many overtakes there are in a race, it's about how hard the drivers need to fight to get them. Currently most overtakes are made on the straight using the DRS. What we want to see is actual wheel-to-wheel racing

the second half of this season really has been interesting. Red bull obv had it in the bag from the beginning. they literally have a spaceship and Vers is class. but middle field is been amazing! Mclaren, Ferrari, Mercedez and Aston Martin, amazing

I think for me I like races where even during quali you have no idea who will get pole and after quali that you reckon all of top 5 have a chance and then drivers battle during the race and have different strategy calls tbh

Been a fun F1 season, even if you're just watching it for the podiums and team rankings behind Verstappen. Works best for me when I pick a few mid tier and back marker drivers to follow as we play "What will Stroll hit?" In practice sessions we play "Who will Tsunoda impede?"

Boring circuits include NASCAR, or city freeway traffic between rush hours, and Indycar, or 21st Century Keystone Cops. It was kinda fun watching the bumper cars on the road circuits for a while but it soon looked like teaching my sister to drive. Very smooth cornfield we stopped in.

Oval circuits? Best part is the race in the pit stops, but coverage always goes to commercial then so we don't miss any of the exciting hamster wheels going around and around and around.

Rally cross is more fun because it looks more dramatic like regardless of whats going on seeing a car hot lap is exciting. F1 is impressive but lacks that sort of flair
