I'm OK with Japan being early in the season and Baku being later, but why can't they just put Montreal right after Miami is beyond me.

I want Canadian race in November!!! Whip out some Pirelli snow studded tires!

I just can’t understand the urge to remove Spa, proper F1 fans love it from a driving perspective. The section from Les Combes to the bus stop is one of the best on the calendar even though it offers no overtaking opportunities

If they drop Spa in the future it will signal F1 truly losing their way!

For the Europeans complaining about Miami being in springtime, you cannot do the race in the late summer or the fall because that is hurricane season.

I like the idea of an Asian leg. The current setup is a killer and also the weather will be better in Japan so hopefully no monsoon races. I don't really get why they don't create a North American leg as well with Las Vegas, Miami and Montreal but I think it is more to do with getting containers shipped around

Excuse me. Belgium on the calendar because those lunatics couldn't arrange a race at Kyalami. You mean to tell me, that on a record-breaking 24 races calendar, they wouldn't have made room for THE race? Things like this, as an enthusiast, make me wanna crush some bones. Unfortunately, I can't do that, but they should remember that 98% of those reading are agreeing to at least a good extent, and we are their customers, not the sponsors, we are the target users. The toy's already expensive, if they want to make it broken, too, then I have to question their marketing strategy.

I heard that they can't find tracks for the sprint races. Some of them don't want them.

Glad that Spa stays. Need to extend the runoffs at Eau Rouge and Radillion and maybe add gravel traps.

I’m happy about a potential Kyalami return to the calendar, but to replace Spa is absolutely terrible. One of the best tracks in the world and it can’t feature on the pinnacle of motorsport. But meanwhile they have three whole races in the US.

If F1 was serious about replacing Spa, they'd go back to Hockenheim

We need spa on the calendar permanently. I am fed up with good classic race tracks being threatened to be kicked every year.

Would like to see more races in Asia as the fan base is not insubstantial. India definitively deserves a race at some stage.

Who on earth asked for Qatar to be on the calendar again?

Canada between Monaco and Spain 😂
That is truly laughable.

I'll honestly just carry over the complaints I had about this year's calendar: Scale down the F1 calendar to just 18-20 races. 24 is already too hectic. And someone really needs to sort out why Canada and Miami can't just be a double header if they want to reduce the hassle of bringing things around.

Edit: Or at least put Miami and Canada right next to each other in the overall schedule.

„Spa which is still on the calendar🙄“

Acting like it is a burden and not one of the most legendary tracks on the planet…

Just make 3 regional championships. One for the Americas, one for Europe and one for Asia and Australia. That way you have more races any given year, yet minimize logistics costs, and both keep classical tracks as Spa and Brazil, and either add new improvised tracks as Miami, Saudi or Vegas or return to places like Istanbul, Nurburgring or Sepang.

Setting a minimum grid size you don't penalize teams for not running the 3 championships. Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull will probably race all. Teams like Haas and Williams will stick to one championship. Since teams will employ different mechanics and race engineers for each championship you do increase F1 job pool while a reduced logistics bill makes easier to keep the budget cap reasonable. Since drivers will stick to one championship, you also have more drivers racing, allowing more youths, more people moving from other series (such as the Indy drivers) and even more good veterans (such as Alonso).

After racing each of the 3 championships, the top 6 from each qualify to a world final for a grid of 18. The host will be rotated among the 3 regions (all of which have places suitable for racing late in the year) to not unfairly advantage any region, and pre designated as the Super Bowl or the UEFA club tournaments are.

This method preserves the best features of both the former calendars and the plans for expansion.
