My god. It looks like Boeing needs to accomplish one mission before moving on to the next as soon as possible

Boeing biggest problem has been rebooting aircraft from the past instead of developing new aircraft like they used to. Boeing Yellowstone Project was meant to launch 3 brand new airliners to replace everything, but instead they only did one of three new aircraft being the 787 and rebooted the other two being the MAX and 777x. The reboot approach hasn’t worked out for them

Boeing has completely lost the plot! They seem to be totally incapable of delivering safe aircraft to customers without there being stupidly long delays. I am a Boeing fan and the B777 is my favourite aircraft series so it really pains me to see the 777X program failing. :(

Whilst I am an Airbus fan, I do feel sad for Boeing, as healthy competition is good for us as passengers as it pushes the boundaries of innovation. Boeing was on the slope at one stage being the No1 airplane manufacturer, putting profitability above all, but all will go full circle.

Emirates canceling the 777X orders to me still seems more inevitable to happen given multiple delays, and something tells me that the aircraft order cancellation might just come sooner on headlines if it gets delayed even further.

That's why planes should be built by engineers, not accountants. Boeing will have to suffer from this era for a long time.

Why would Boeing expect orders for an aircraft they can't deliver? Of course orders are down!

Boeing (and Airbus too probably) are definitely going through quite the unimaginable pain RN.

This is absolutely devastating since we will all been assuming it would come out in last 2022-early 2023

Well May will be upon us tomorrow. So by June/July the 787 should have restarted deliveries. So looking forward to that :)

In other news: Sir Tim Clark, furious with another 777X delay, cancels his entire order.

Many lesson's to be learned here. I am a Airbus fan and saddened to learn the state of affairs at Boeing. Healthy competition is needed to ensure safety and quality for us the end user's. Apart from small problems with cosmetics on the A350, Airbus is leaving Boeing sadly in the dust. I hope that things get sorted at Boeing quickly not just for the brand and competition but mainly for all the workers at the plants. These people will be the victim's of pure arrogance and poor management from Boeings side and the US taxpayer's must subsidize this poor management decision's. Boeing's management is starting to look like my country South Africa's government, corrupted and useless not caring about the rest only the top

Well... Obviously, since Boeing is not allowed to certify their planes itself, it takes more time🤷‍♂️

Boeing has certainly gotten themselves in a BIG mess. Looks like we won't be seeing the 777X fly anytime soon. This is something Airbus can capitalize on Boeing's misfortune and at the same time correct their problems too. Anyone thinking of the 737-MAX-11 or the 787-11? Just asking!

I am afraid we are and have been watching the slow death of a once great company. When the headquarters moved to Chicago it signaled a change in company’s priority from engineering and innovation to finance. It’s all about $$$, and those at the top don’t realize how the once great leader in engineering and innovation was making $$$ based on it. Now Boeing sacrifices it’s innovation to save a buck. It’s sad, but I believe Boeings days are numbered when you can’t name a single recently successful program.
