The profile view of this new 4Runner is very reminiscent of the 2007 generation. Is it just me? I wish Toyota would’ve kept the current generation while upgrading the tech specs.

Stealerships’ MRSP will jack it up to well over $60k

My wife has been driving highlanders for a few years. She wanted a 4Runner and I didn’t want to take any chances with the new ones with all of the engine issues Toyota seems to be having, so I got her a 24 Limited in May with a huge discount. Ibelieve we made the right choice. The new one looks decent on the outside, but don’t care for the inside.

The 2024 4Runner Limited, when dressed up navy blue or black, with chrome, big wheels, redwood leather, polished wood, street tuned suspension and full time 4wd; is the spitting image of a Range Rover for the Polo Pony crowd. Total reliability at half the starting price of a Rover. I played with FJ Cruisers, 4 of 'em, when I thought I needed to be Grizzly Adams. Now I'd rather be pulling up to a polo match in a Navy Blue 4Runner Limited, trailering a Bede BD-5J 'Acrostar' jet plane, (for when immediate departure is required), living the Bond life in Luxo Runners. Glad I found one still on the boat this month.

Love the look. Reminds me of the 2000's Nissan Pathfinder when SUVs actually looked like SUVs, none of that Coupe drop nonsense.

Hate that toyota is using red turn signals. They should have kept it amber like the last gen 4runner

Just came back from Toyota dealership and test drove the Land Crusier 1958 followed by the Tacoma (base engine). Ive found that the LC is nice but the way the base engine Taco drives is very similar! Now very much looking forward to seeing, then eventually test driving the 2026 4Runner SR5!!🎉🎉

No frame mounted bump stops on the new 4runner and the new Tacoma. They went to shock mounted bump stop like a car and people are already taking them off road and bottoming out the suspension and cracking the shock tower or blowing to top hat off the shock tower completely.

STUPID ENGINEERING!

This will be another costly fiasco like the Tundra motor recall. Toyota needs to get their S $*$ together!

Reliability is the only stat that counts!

I'm curious about the resolution and sharpness of the camera display. I drive a 2021 Toyota Rav4 and I didn't realize just how poor the camera quality actually was until my work gave my a 2023 Silverado to drive. The cameras in my Chevy truck put the Toyota cameras to shame. I hope Toyota has upgraded their camera game because I am seriously considering trading in my Rav4 and buying the new 4Runner.

I really love the looks of the new 4 Runner for some reason I thought it was going to be strictly hybrid only! Either way Id buy this truck!

I’ve been let down by the reliability of my last couple of Toyota/Lexus products. They weren’t nightmares, but they needed a few costly repairs out of warranty. I’ll probably still buy a pre-owned 4Runner, but if needs significant repairs twice in one year, I have to find a new brand.

First 4runner I've laid eyes on since my 3rd Gen that I have been remotely attracted to. However, no V6 or no diesel option for the US is going to hurt this one I'm afraid.

$60K for a top trim Toyota 4Runner. These people are out of their minds.
