read LPQ!! I'm actually torn on whether I think you'd love Age of Ash...I know I did but that's because I already loved Abraham.

Lonesome dove is the only western I’ve read and it is my favorite of all time. Such a journey. I know the both of you will love it

Super excited you’ll be getting to The Exorcist…one of my all time favorites! Also, currently reading Lonesome Dove and it’s phenomenal! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that when you get to it! Great vid!

I really enjoyed the First Vagrant book. A genuinely unique world and given your love of animal companions I think its up your alley.

You are most welcome for the Lonesome Dove books. The other book takes place when all of the main characters are young. I am not a huge western fan either, but he writes very character driven like King. Thank you again for getting me to read some books that I did not know I would enjoy so much.

@6:50 I’m glad you’re going to read and review The Exorcist. I’m the person who asked if you have read that book yet.

I’m going to read it for the first time this October. I’ve never seen the movie so I’m going in completely blind

Dead Man's Walk is the first book in the series, followed by Comanche Moon, then Lonesome Dove, then Streets of Laredo. I've only read the last two books, but Lonesome Dove is phenomenal

Nice books you've got this month! I bought Fool Moon and book 2 & 3 of the Tawny Man trilogy, so now I have the full matching series for this one with UK covers
Read the first 3 Tarzan books as a teenager and loved them

My oldest daughter (18) LOVES Jonathan Maberry. She owns most of his books now.

Lonesome Dove is one of my all-time favorite miniseries. My dad got me into it. I've never read the book, though. Plan to later this year 😁

I went through a huge Larry McMurtry phase in high school, his books are some of the best books written in the 20th century. Jonathan Maberry is primarily a horror writer, he writes the kickass Joe Ledger novels, but he's branching out in high fantasy, his fight scenes are top notch.

Hi Mike! Love the videos and can’t thank you enough for your recommendations, they have rekindled my passion for reading. I was wondering since you get so many new books all the time if you plan on doing another bookshelf tour? I’d love to see it!

Urgh, I agree so much with you regarding Western. I struggle a lot with reading stories in the setting, I'm not even sure why. That counts Red Country by Joe Abercrombie, too! But I do hear MANY AMAZING things about Lonesome Dove and I'm keeping that in my TBR, too. I definitely have to check out The Vagrant trilogy again, too! From what I've read, it's something different from many science fantasy books, for sure! :)

Just got in a case of Texas pecan. I have to have it shipped since HEB is not in Dallas yet. But they’re coming!

I love those minalima editions of Harry Potter! There is no building them though, they are already assembled and have interactive elements that move or pop out. They just have extra sheets of paper in there to protect it. I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do :)

Thank you for reminding me of Lands of Ice and Fire! I completely forgot it existed. I've been relying on the app but having physical detailed maps would be amazing.
