Karlo spoke about the 153 fish that were caught. Another interesting aspect, about that number, is that there are 153 "Hail Mary's" in the full(Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious) Rosary.

God bless you all even if you would deny blessings from God, you probably need it more, so no take backs, you get blessed too..😁🤣

Jesus speaking to Peter around the fire, saying “feed my sheep “ reminds me of the Exodus story of when God spoke to Moses out of the fire, saying “I’M WHO I’M “

This is so inconsistent with scriptures...
To begin with, Peter is indeed prominent among the apostles. He was a leader among the twelve. There is no denying this. However, Peter’s preeminence over the other apostles was nowhere stated by Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that all the apostles had equal authority.

While Jesus had the chance to put in place some sort of leadership structure among His apostles, He did not. In fact, He clearly stated that the apostles had the same level of authority—none was considered above the other.
( Luke 22 : 24-30)
In His answer, Jesus gave equal authority to all of the apostles; none of them were singled out for special treatment.

Second, Peter never mentioned anything about papacy in his last letter.

In Peter’s second letter, when he knew he was about to die, he told his readers he wanted to leave them with some important truths of the faith
( 2 Peter 1: 13-15 )
Interestingly, in Second Peter there is no command to follow his successors, no hint that he viewed himself as the leader of the church, no statement that he was the bishop of Rome. Why, in this dying declaration of Peter are all of these things absent?

There is more to it but I will stop there!

The New Testament makes it abundantly clear that Christ is both the foundation (Acts 4:11,  12; 1 Corinthians 3:11) and the head (Ephesians 5:23) of the church. It is a mistake to think that here He is giving either of those roles to Peter. There is a sense in which the apostles played a foundational role in the building of the church (Ephesians 2:20), but the role of primacy is reserved for Christ alone, not assigned to Peter.

There are a couple of verses in Scripture that supports the Pope being the leader of the Church from Jesus giving to Peter the keys to Heaven in relation to the king giving his kingdom to his successor. Too Jesus changing the name of Simon to Peter in relation to appointing him to an important task. Too Peter's name always being listed the first before the other Apostles and even being distinguished separately from the other Apostles. There is no doubt that Jesus knowing He would leave the Apostles designated Peter to be the leader of the Apostles in His absence. The Apostles were the leaders of the Church but they also had a leader that was Peter. And as the Apostles have a succession because there is need of leadership within the Church as there has always been leadership there has always been a successor of Peter as the leader amongst the successors of the Apostles. Having multiple leaders eventually leads to division unless there is a centralized figure leading them. This is still present in the Magistarium of the Church today with the Pope and Bishops of the Church.

The word Pope is not found in Scripture. The word itself comes from the Latin word Papa meaning Father. The Greek word is Patriarch meaning Father. As Paul in Scripture addressed himself Father in the Gospel of Christ which is why we call Priests Father.

Boggles my mind that Protestants can't accept this simple fact there has been a pope since the very beginning of the church whereas the Protestants begin in the 15th century led by a priest no less who then became the Supreme pontiff of his own religion. Everything protestants believe comes from luther the mad or Calvin the cruel. What they believe taken from the original Church Catholic Church simply exclude what they don't agree with so for almost 1500 years the church taught the same thing and everyone who is Christian was Catholic and everyone who is Catholic was Christian.

Where is the pope in the Bible? Answer: NOWHERE!!

The apostate Catholic Church claims Peter was the first pope. But, was he? NO! Consider the facts...

1. In the Catholic Church, popes are celibate. But, in Scripture, Peter was a married man. As 1 Cor. 9:5 says: "Do we not have the right to take along a
Christian wife, as do the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Kephas [Peter]?" Also, Matt. 9:14 says: "Jesus entered the house of Peter, and saw his
mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever." Common sense dictates that for Peter to have a mother-in-law, he had to be married.

2. The Catholic pope wore a crown. Peter never wore a crown or expensive robes that would have distinguished him from his Christian brothers and sisters.

3. People bow down to the pope. Peter would not allow men to bow down to him (Acts 10:25-26)

4. Catholic popes go by the title of Pontifex Maximus, which was originally the title of the pagan-worshiping Caesars of the ancient Roman empire. Peter had no titles.

The Catholic Church is notorious for making up things that have nothing to do with Scripture.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, -Hebrews 13:20

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.-Isaiah 55:3

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.-Isaiah 55:13

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.-Acts 13:34

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.-Acts 13:38-39

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.-John 6:35-40

Believe on Him and love one another. Do unto others as you have them do unto you. As you sow so shall you reap in this life and the next. The law is established by grace and made void by the precepts of men that deny His testimonies of tender mercy.

But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.-Mathew 21:28-31

Let your yes be a yes and your no a no. Dead faith is simply cold. They have done what is their duty to do. Hot faith is perfected by works and the lukewarm is the first son who denies Him and His testimony and so He denies them by spitting them out of His mouth. He never knew them.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.-John 3:16

What a pity that John didn't understand what was going on between Peter and the Lord.
He could have explained all that to us; then there'd be no doubt that some of the most evil, ungodly men to ever exist, were actually the God appointed, Spirit anointed, successors of Peter and the closest examples to the Lord Jesus Christ for Christians to follow... on Earth!

Actually, come to think about it...
No one else knew anything about it either?
Not even Paul, (whom the Lord gave the full revelation of the Gospel to personally, ) knew anything about Peter being Supreme Leader?
Strange how silent the Word of God is about such an important topic?

Truth is, the Pope is as much a successor to Peter as Donald Duck!

The Roman Catholic pseudo Christian cult, (Mother, ) and all her Catholic off shoots, (the Harlots, ) were mentioned by John however..
When they finally, deservedly, come to drink from the cup of God's wrath, and are destroyed.

'Babylon the Great' crushed like an annoying bug.

"Come out of her my people!"

Rev 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6  Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Rev 18:7  How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Rev 18:8  Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Rev 18:9  And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Rev 18:10  Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Short answer: the pope is not biblical

Presuposing that the gospels are historical reportings...which scholars do not, I would say that it is a later interpretation of a passage in the gospel of Matthew. Not talking theology here!
What we see historically, is five major centers in the ancient world divided up in to empires. Constantinenople and Rome.
What I find interesting is, we dont see that tradition being acted upon prior to the great schism. All bishops were equal until Rome became isolated. Dont get me wrong..it is practical to have a central leadership. The east was easily pushed around by the emperor and Rome wanted no part of secular bullying.
But the Pope lineage, I challenge, is a late arrival that doesnt become a legal point until the schism and papal authority argument.
Because frankly...we no evidence of it be acted out prior to the schism..minus what we interpret from the text.

In Daniel 7:25,
The pope is the little horn,
Who will change the times and the law of God,
including the fourth commandment, the Sabbath.

Daniel 7:25
King James Version
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
