Platoons are an interesting concept. Not sure how they’ll make it work, but it sounds huge.
To me its very intriguing how these platoons will have their own stations around planets and personalized orders. Maybe the latter is tied to a leaderboard system, like the leader of the clan issues an order for killing as many bugs as you can and who kills the most wins the most medals? The other thing, the station, might either be a fancy way of telling you what planet you’re on, or it’s gonna be a full blown base for however many players a Platoon can have. Very interesting, though we’ll have to see how they execute it

Tbh if they do add it, they could broaden the horizon with special platoon missions. For example, on the bots side. Detonate a high value fabrication facility in either a stealth, assault or otherwise. This mission requires 4-8 divers and requires utmost coordination to complete. And to stop people from farming it over doing the three mission tours, you could make it a cool down for 1-2 days. The rewards would be a higher liberation percentage than the tours, xp including side objectives like destroying dropships that could be used to escape the facility or w.e

I seriously think clan/platoon is of any use here in this game.

Maybe just better matchmaking visibilty, but for sure it require much effort from the dev side just to make this happen, which I don't think I would use.

I think if would be cool if we had a choice between tasks for the people and then ones for gear. People: higher amount of reinforcements and maybe less of a cooldown when depleted. Gear: stuff like stratagems and support weapons.
