If we write it in X²=4AY then equating X=0, Y=0 we get x=-b/2a, y=-D/4a where the quadratic function is y=ax²+bx+c(D is the discriminant) with the conditions imposed. Basically converting the standard quadratic function in the form of a standard parabolic function and then as usual. But this is subject to quadratic function only as the basic function from where the standard parabolic function came out was a standard quadratic function.
