Rear hub motor vs Front

Only a geared hub motor can offer a front wheel drive option which is great for bike control especially on slippery road condition. Front is easy to install and easy to maintain. go for a rear hub motor if you have lots of steep gravel up-hill on your way.

AWD is very nice because when you have to climb a curb the front wheel has power.

Now, thats the way a proper youtube vid should be - information compressed in 0:48. Small intro included..

front wheel drive motors are actually more dangerous in slippery conditions because you steer with the front wheel, rear wheel drive motors are much safer

The Only thing keeping us from getting the rear hub system is that a day would come when we'd get a rear flat and be stranded in the middle of nowhere. Ideas on that? Thanks
