I tried equed Hexa and it was way better than the equed Variations.
Variations simply has too much bass and ear gain.

fantastic point about not looking at a specific part of the FR, because every region is affected by how the other regions sound. just because air frequencies get a boost, doesn't mean it's gonna sound spacious and light, it would just sound harsh and grainy because of its relationship with the 1-6k region

Considering the price it's a really good iemi mean the detail level is crazy. I personally don't care much about sound profile(frequency responses) that much because my favorite changes from time to time. I have the hexa and have like 20 eq profiles. Harmen, starfield, jh3, truthear zero, ext and it's just a very good iem in general because it can replicate many different iems very well. Atleast in my opinion.
