Amazing video! I love Black Widows, and so did my Mom. She taught me to appreciate all life. My Mom passed away last June, and I miss her every day. I will forever have her with me in all the amazing things she taught me.

I have a pet black widow as well. She is VERY shy so I used a little black jewelry box in her enclosure. She likes to drag all of her meals to her enclosure and be safe in there. So cute❤

There's this black widow that lives on my porch. I had to keep my family from killing her, but now they love her. She's beautiful, and sometimes we feed her. Her name is Big Bertha

I use to do this with the black widows in my back yard :) I would catch insects and feed em to them. One girl I named Bloody Marry she was young and after a few feedings she relocated but still one of those things. My sister and I would tease them out she would sometimes use her finger I would tease with a piece of grass. They truly are amazing and deserve all the respect. They are actually nearly blind and without their web they ar kind of clumsy/lost. Thank you Kat for sharing your new lovely girl. I have a ton of stories centered around these girls, but I had quite an adventurous childhood ^^

Binx is lovely. The only times I have ever harmed a spider have been when it was dangerous and there was no way to move it. My colors are black and red, so these animals are especially precious to me.
