wild black widow as a pet?

I had a black widow as a pet when I was a kid. I’d feed it flies, grasshoppers, crickets and other insects. I had it a few months until my mom found me feeding it one day. She freaked out at the size that it had grown to and she told my dad what I’d been doing. A couple of days later she was gone but my dad would get a kick out of telling his friends about my giant black widow pet!

Hey, i wanted to know if i want to keep one in jar, how to i make it airy? Wouldn’t it be airtight enough to kill it?
