Not me just watching this while updating my ps4 to 12.00. ik, it downloaded it, and it literally still works

I tried installing 12.00 on my PS4, but nothing happened. My PS4 didn't restart and I had to turn it back on manually when the update didn't go through. My PS4 is still on 11.52 and it still works.

Update: I unplugged my PS4 for a few minutes and tried the System Software Update again. It worked this time and now my PS4 is now running with the latest software version 12.00.

My games won't open, I'm being forced to update to v12.00 even if i try to click on update later. Any solution on how i can handle that without updating it?

This update bricked my ps4 don’t update no matter what your better off jailbreaking or playing your games offline
EDIT: I ended up having to reinstall my os with a usb and had to wait after reinstalling few hours before my ps4 finally stopped bugging either way this is most definitely planned obsolescence from Sony

Damn. Wish I had known this before I updated. I want to jailbreak but I'm at the new firmware (12.00). Will keep this in mind once a new jailbreak comes.

I have tried two method to update my PS4 Slim to 12.00. When I update via internet it doesn't update. When I updated via USB, it started like it's supposed to but once restarted it then restarted again. I received a screen that gave me a option to report to Sony the issue, but the screen didn't tell me what the issue was. After reporting to Sony what had occured, it then rebuilt the database and turned on, however my playstation isn't working any better. When it starts glitching and the controller lags, eventually I get a error message saying "corrupt software system"

I'm still stuck on "Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for re installation for version 11.50 or later. You can download the update file for re installation from PlayStation" for months now.

My ps4 randomly get out of the playstation network, I can’t plug in & out because my TV holder is closed to the plug… i will never be online? Please help my PS4. My system started slowing down, started slowing down like there’s lag. My controller looks like there’s stick drift. Was perfectly fine before the update.

I downloaded the version 12 update. After a few of mins playing, the disk would eject. I reset the PS4, and it would eject the disk each time after 3-4 mins of playing.

This beginning to feel suspect, like what Apple did in 2017 for purposely slowing down older model phones
