Fantastic conversation. This man has a good grasp on WWI. We often overlook WWI and focus entirely on our perspective of WWII.

Lusitania was a British Liner, and that recruiting poster was obviously based on a famous British recruiting poster from 1914 featuring Lord Kitchener.

Ww1 was the one event that set most precedent throughout the 19th and 20th century. In that it shaped germany to go through depression, vaulted america and had overshadowed England in their since superiority in the world. I mean I could on for days how it brought both semi and automatic weapons which horses still being used. It was almost like before WW1 world peace was reachable, in spite of the conflicts that happened elsewhere. It’s like the marking of the next age of warfare and human disgust that has translated to what we have today.

This guy speaks like the USA rescued Europe. Has he even read of the Russian contribution? Russia rescued Europe at least 3 times in history from dictators (Saved the Hapsburgs, saved EU from Napoleon Dictator, and both great wars)
