It’s gross the way we treat people in the 🇺🇸. We can do better for the disadvantaged and disabled.

The Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area is near 2000 square acres. This is not news. It is favor to the mayor as a show of action. In an afternoon, they could not clean a single acre. Hundreds live in every nook and cranny of this park. It is a city of the unhoused living in an ungated community that permits local residents, residents who blatantly break every single park rule, to frolic, during daylight ours ... and for the brave residents, after sunset. This is less true with those parks south of the boulevard. I've seen residential visitors who've caught, killed and were cleaning migrating ducks and geese!

This is a good start but permanent solutions to the homeless problem need to be put into place so that they don't come back. We cannot allow this to continue in our communities. This is a huge health and safety problem.
