We have people in Congress doing that. Why aren’t they being held accountable?

$42k for 14 drops? Just 3k each. What, are we the “Dollar Tree” of selling intelligence?

I think it's a safe assumption he still won't be getting his other BMW back.

I don't understand how an Army junior NCO has such access to that information. Historians tell us that during the two-month long operation in 1971 known as Lam Son 719, U.S. forces suffered around 108 helicopters destroyed and 600 damaged (101st Airborne). Of the approximately 10, 000 U.S. troops committed to LAM SON 719, 215 were killed in action, 1, 149 wounded, and 42 missing in action, and a few became P.O.W.s. Articles summaries indicate the NVA knew beforehand through their disciplined and effective intelligence operations targeting our forces beforehand. I am willing to forgive a former enemy soldier, but never one of our own that is a traitor.

We need to hold these people accountable. Like what they did to this type of person in WW2.

Life in prison without parole if he is found guilty. This has got to stop.

The military really needs to take a harsh look at how who gets what info. Why does an airborne guy need access to information on ICBMs and F 22s? This is just like that National guard soldier in New England gaining info about operations in the Pacific.

How can such a young soldier be selling military intelligence to a foreign company?

My dad was an Air Force Intelligence Officer. He's no longer living probably due to Agent Orange. If he were alive he would probably say that this guy's punishment should be for him to take a one way trip up in that chopper that he stole the plans for.

Is this a death penalty offence. Only 10% get caught.

I’ve made some pretty outlandish financial decisions in my day, but ruining your life for a meager $42k? Doesn’t seem worth it.

While incarceration may serve as a deterrent for some, the gravity of selling out one's country demands a punishment that matches its severity.
