Utterly Delicious-Light Brown Sugar- Crispy- Chocolate chunk cookies

Super easy and delicious. I have tried many chocolate chip cookie recipes, and this is easy and soft and crispy. So good!

Ingredients:
1 stick softened butter (unsalted)
1/3 cup light brown sugar (you can use dark brown as well)1/4 cup granulated white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon sea salt, or Kosher salt
1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract (Baking vanilla)
1 1/4 cups flour (sifted) Unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup Chocolate chips or chunks of your choice!
I used Belgian chocolate chunks, semi sweet
Yields 24 cookies (depending on the size you make them)

Preheat oven to 350 F
Combine sifted (or whisk) flour & salt.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add in the egg.
Mix well.
Add in the vanilla extract.
Slowly add the dry (flour,salt) ingredients to the wet mixture (butter,sugar,eggs,vanilla). Stir or mix until all ingredients are well combined, and it forms a dough.
Refrigerate dough for about 10 minutes (optional).
Let sit on counter for 10 minutes pre baking (optional).
Line baking sheet with parchment paper or non stick cooking spray.
Drop cookie scoop (spoonful) worth of dough onto sheet, like a one inch round ball.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
Golden brown around the edges and bottoms…these will be a light color cookie because of the light brown sugar.
Let cool on tray, move to cooling rack and enjoy!
