These shields were provided by a club member of ours utilizing imagery from the Gladiatoria Fechtbuch (Biblioteka Jagiellońska, Folio 49v). He has expressed interest in rubberizing the tips to possibly allow for safer thrusting practices; however, they are treated with utmost caution and employ light practice for ensured safety when used with two hands.

Weaponized shields are under represented in video games. Kinda makes want to make a VR which the premise is if Medieval Europe had gladiator tournaments and it is different gladiators armed with bizarre weapons

2 hand would be crazy to see but def need the experience to do so safely, if at all. It's hard to safely spar with blunt force objects of that caliber.
