This video gives a detailed explanation of the Mineral Mines in Utah web application produced by the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining (DOGM). We provided this video to give an extensive explanation of how DOGM is using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data driven decision making. Ensuring responsible development of Utah's natural resources is one of the high priorities in DOGM and by leveraging GIS our land managers have greatly enhanced their ability to help ensure this goal is met.
