What’s amazing is how common gold actually is! It’s dang near everywhere, if only in small amounts.
There used to be large veins near the surface in many places, but most of the easy stuff has been long mined out. For a hundred years, at any one time there would be whole Spanish ships with it’s cargo holds filled to the top with the purest gold.
Although all the easy stuff is over with, it still exists in some small amounts everywhere, just not in quantities that make it feasible to mine commercially.

What is that style air chisel about? That thing looks very helpful. I work in natural gas and something like that could be a lifesaver compared to using a full jackhammer.
