So many conquerors in history, were finally defeated when their opponents developed strategy, tactics, logistics, or weapon technologies developed after the first assault. Napoleon, Shaka, Hitler, even Robert E Lee all were defeated by this.

I suggest you watch a video by military history visualized why the Blitzkrieg is over used and over emphasized term. Why the Germans didn’t even use the term themselves.

There's so much more than just it being a "war of attrition" and "blitzkrieg"

Blitztkrieg work very well at the start of the war.
After Normandy Blitztkrieg was not a tactic the germans could use. So it did not fail, it just could not be used.

Blitzkrieg was created out of the german necessity, to win fast becaue of a lack of material. When the german blitzkrieg slowed down in russian mud, exactly that happened.

Every war is a war of attrition - manpower, resources, willpower.

It's called a war of ATTRITION. Yes, industrial capacity is critical, but so is quality and effectiveness of your equipment and training and leadership, etc. Producing 14, 000 Hurricanes was more about corporate influence causing the death of pilots rather than quality and effectiveness of the outdated Hurricane.

the French should have realized the tactics of the gerries early on, most of it was just bravado and feint. They were tricked into thinking they were beaten and thus retreated from stronghold on the sedan front. never mind, thankfully we Brits saved them again.

As a GenX American, I am convinced that British women (and old men like me) won the war of production during the Battle of Britain (1940). This example, proved to old American men that hiring women was a good idea (1942-1945).
Fortunately for the Allies, old Axis men did not employ Axis women in large numbers until about the last 10 months of W.W.II in Europe (1 July 1944- 8 May 1945).

If the Germans hadn’t willingly let the British go at Dunkirk, the English likely would have lost. But the Germans were fighting a “civilized” war and the allies were fighting a total war. That was the fundamental difference

The only reason it lost was the Soviet union with it's army, people, antifascist (anti Nazi) ideology, unimaginable sacrifice and even command. The other "allies" you are taking about did much much much less. So with mention only Soviet union or highlight it. And remember D-Day happened when Germany was already losing

That comment is ridiculous, the only reason Germany lost the war was because they fought a war on two fronts, stop publishing lies.
