the thinking method in this game is start it and forget about it and one day you have so much you dont know what to do with it

For reference: Even if you have just 1 production line for each item, filling that takes just under 4 hours. 😂 during which you can do other stuff like cleaning up other parts of your factory, improving your power grid or go exploring for resources and upgrades. Thta's the beauty of automation. 😊

This game is like building a giant railway set in your basement without the whole taking up half your house.

The thing I don't know if some people get is that if you play the game the way it's meant to be played, you will be spending more time designing and setting up factories than gathering and crafting parts. And if some how you do find yourself waiting on a factory to build something, the map is HUGE. So just go explore and come back in a few minutes XD

The high cost requirements are deliberate so that you automate and optimize.

"Doesn't respect our time" And then that 1000 fills up before you've built all your factories to start filling the Autowire. Im on the next tier and I've had Versatile Frames filled up for days now and am still trying to get Refineries set up to unlock the Manufacturer

It wouldn't be much of an automation game if it were trivial to do things manually.

As someone who played Satisfactory before 1.0 full release, that's nothing. Wait until you get to Phase 8. And with v1.0 they released the Phase 9 as end-game of an end-game :D

Use somersloop in your assembler so you only have to manufacture half as much. Somersloop makes the rest.

Ahh but you see, Cohh, when you play games like these, time becomes more of a suggestion than a fact of life

Right now I am in the process of building a gigantic double carousel manufactory. Basically a sushi belt carousel loop with another carousel loop inside of it, with mergers and smart splitters splitting off each one to other manufactory modules up and down the length of the carousel. Each floor has five manufactories processing a single item type on each side, and three walls up, another floor starts, with the carousel loops stacked in the middle. It's not efficient, but as I keep going, it is at the very least interesting.

Rubber and plastic are of course being processed elsewhere, but only in the capacity of the fact that I obviously can't do them in the same manufactory unless I want to pipe oil across the map and I really don't want to.
