Man this'd be perfect in something like, a Metroid without an actual escape countdown.
Like Samus just goes in and does the job so flawlessly, she gets the heroic reprise as she leaves the planet instead of the panicked run.

Pontus, you have in my opinion the best orchestral cover of Brinstar on youtube. The pace is there, as is the majesty of the full orchestra. I listen to something that's like the licensed tract that's on the Smash Bros. Melee game and then yours, the difference in quality is like night and day. You make all the right choices when adding each new instrument, instinctively knowing what to highlight to maintain the spirit of the original and yet add more epicness. You're a really good orchestrator and criminally underrated. You and Malcolm Robinson are my favourite orchestral cover-artists.

! Samas has never had so much epic swagger! Reminds me of the end of zero mission, getting the full gravity suit plus all unknown items and blowing the bejaggers out of the space pirates I previously had to sneak about and run from!

I do hope though an epic orchestral cover of the Super Metroid brinstar is in the works too.

As my first metroid game, Super Metroid is always going to be a favourite, and that theme in particular just has a wonderful alien quality to it, delving deeper and deeper into planet Zebes.

I could see this doing a crescendo while Samus is training a child of Ridley (or ots species) and maybe her own child. Along with the animals she's saved and learned from, she has her new family that she's raising.

This is really good stuff. Getting the fully powered suit in Zero Mission makes you feel like an unstoppable force, especially when you got a reprise of Brinstar's music in the background. This version captures that same feeling and it's great.

Also I may or may not be the 690th like but that's not important.
