The 20 free pulls are STANDARD pulls, not event banner pulls, so you can't immediately use them on Jiyan's banner.

Things that the video missed:
-It is pretty much confirmed through another more official leak that there is going to be a 5 star character selector banner.
-there already exists an interactive map that has every chest and sonance casket location + everything you could need.
-the game will also give us an additional 10 standard pull and 10 limited pulls with a code which they will reveal during the life stream.

I like your tips they are pretty much as Genshin that is familiar for sure.
My plan is to reach the daily part if I like the 4-5* I get from first 36-50 pulls, spend the resin then to the next acc. I actually enjoy rerolling, when I started a Genshin acc as it is, was super boring and not fun at all vs when I started rerolling and got the 1-2 (4-5*) I really wanted from the beginning, I took breaks or do other stuff, do 5 rerolls stop and do something else. 25 Pre-registered acc already, to keep 10-6 then 2 in the end. As long you use your resin/dailies there shouldn't be an issue to reroll vs waiting for those chars normally (reruns-aim the 4-5*s you want).
Yangyang, Baizhi and the MC are my favorites to begin with and that's pretty much a solid team.
As 4* from the gatcha just Mortefi and if I get copies of Yangyang and Baizhi even better.
5* Jianxin (Healer/Support) and Calcharo (DPS) are the ones I'm aiming for, Verina should be "fine" as a 3rd.
My premium will be Jiyan if he comes early even better, for the second acc to keep I might as well just save the wishes if I get 1-2 5* standard chars I like before the selector then go for Yinlin(while saving my Jiyan acc for the next banners and so on).

I'd like to add: if you plan to do this on mobile, in preparation for the mainline content: make sure you have a controller implement ready because mobile is not geared for this kinda combat haha.

I disagree with not farming echoes early. You have to farm and get as much echoes as possible to get xp to level up your Data Bank and get to lvl 15 asap.

I tried the characters and gunner girl just feels so right. I’m not building Danjin yet because my skill level just isn’t there yet. I’m also now not a fan of parrying because dodges are enough for me.

Thought of using Mortefi but didn’t like his style. Will just be using free characters in my two teams. Only standard pulls and no spending for standard pulls.
