Yes the added pink price on razors! Men’s razors are always cheaper but it’s the same thing!!! And so true about cutting corners! True about EVERYTHING in life and so well said. Thanks for sharing!

I found something interesting with this Covid “experience”… I unsubscribed from so many “Influencers“ on YouTube because I found myself following their recommendations and spending more money on things they probably were paid to promote. I appreciate the fact that you admitted one of your recommendations was a bad experience/choice. Many do not. The term influencers is real and I didn’t think I was gullible. My Bank account tells a different story 🤦‍♀️

As the ceo of fake plants I want to add a thought. 😃 I totally get where Shea is coming from on this but some places in the world do not have the right environment for the types of plants that we like. Also, a lot of us are busy in ways that keep us out of our homes. I, personally, find a lot of comfort in seeing the greenery even if I know it’s fake. Does anyone else feel this way?

GOOD FOR YOU! And the truth will set us ALL free! As a designer, I think you will still love the couch in the future as all you need to do is change your throw pillows, the art over the couch, the wall color behind it and the accessories on the tables around it. THOSE are the elements that change as your style changes. The couch will remain a neutral classic. I agree with EVERYTHING you said.... (except the lights work for me like a charm), but otherwise, your big finale of 'you don't save money when you try to save money' IS SO TRUE! For example... cheap foil or plastic wrap. UGH! Cheap glassware, cheap canned goods, cheap fabrics, cheap shoes, cheap ANYTHING! Great proverb to live by: BUY ONCE. Stop buying cheap and having to replace the cheap stuff over and over and over and over!

Omg, YES!! Gillette fusion razors are the ONLY ones I use. The blades stay sharp for soo long, everything else gets dull too fast or doesn’t give as close a shave. My legs feel positively silky after! 💕

Canceled cable like 10 years ago, never had regret!

About razors: I actually started using a men's safety razor. They're a bit old fashioned and it was a bit of a bloodbath when I first shaved my legs with it 😂
But now that I'm used to it it works super well. And the blades are really cheap, like 30 cents for a blade. Highly recommend! 😍

Like handbags, I figured out that if there’s a certain pair of shoes I’m wanting, just get them. Otherwise, I will just still want them and end up buying them and getting rid of the “substitute “ pair!! I also like my packing cubes...a lot!! 🙃

We haven't had cable for 5 years now, best decision EVER! Hulu, Prime, Netflix and YouTube is all you need!
