It's a rather insignificant detail but the doctor initally addresses Aurthur as "friend, " in a casual way, but after he diagnoses him with Tuberculosis, he addresses him as "son."

Seeing Arthur slowly get worse and worse while he kept trying to just be a better man and leave a positive impact before it was too late was one of the most painful moments of all my time playing this masterpiece of a game. Plus with the high honor ending it all comes together finally giving him the ending he deserved, but it hurt so fucking much. I cried, and I'm not ashamed to say it, because it hurt in ways that are difficult ti explain
