HELLDIVERS 2: EXPECTATION VS REALITY. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SPIKES!

What are the devs thinking when they promoted this? My expectation that i can finally run in ICE with those deadly spikes.

Spikes shoes or boots, whatever. I want an armor as shown in video to be able to run in ICE specially with those SPIKES!

I had no expectation of the spikes having any function at all unless armor passives explicitly stated it, nevertheless it would've definitely been pretty neat.

It would've at least been nice to have the armor have a new passive of negating terrain effects or something. Like, sheesh.

Yeah, this current warbond is pretty much useless. Only somewhat decent thing is the impact incendiary, but that's about it.

Better movement speed/stamina for its armor class and a revival to the cut scout helmet “enemy highlighting within a certain range” for helping your team see thru fog/snow/darkness would have made it a decent passive set alternative to those radar ping/lower detectability scout armors while not being meta/nulifying the purpose of the muscle booster outright.

I just want across the board buffs to weapons. Doesn't even have to be damage, but armor pen, reload, fire rate or ammo. Increase the damage radius or HP for Hellbombs even. They keep nerfing all our gear so its not just challenging, it just isn't fun. We lost all 24 lives trying to take down a Strategem Jammer and 3 Gunshop Factories (Helldive). Then again, even with combined level of 240. maybe we're just bad.

This is a hot take but I think it's fine that the crampons don't stop you from skidding on ice. Because otherwise these armors would be objectively better than anything else in the game (they don't have unique passives). However saying that... why do they have crampons to begin with? If they're not going to do anything, just remove them from the designs!
