I’ve always thought my eyes were just plain brown, but recently I looked at them closer and they’re hazel! Searched up photos of hazel eyes and they match up with my eyes, and even the description of where the middle is brown, further away is green/yellow and then I have this blue ring in the outside. My eyes can turn a really light brown/gold when out in the sun, green sometimes and sometimes more on the brown side. People often mistake my eyes as green when I’m outside lol. But overall I love my hazel eyes I find them so fascinating!

My eyes are hazel. My eye doctors have said so. But they're dark and most people just assume they're brown. It's kinda annoying when someone is trying to complement your eyes and then say they're the wrong color 🤣

I’ve been complemented on my hazel eyes by a photographer. He told me they are unusual because of all the colors within them. From the pupil, there’s a ring of amber, then a burst of green, blue is next, a violet ring and lastly, a dark ring of black on the outer iris. They do shift in shades depending on my mood, kind of like a mood ring. lol
