How to upgrade CPU, RAM and HDD of Acer aspire 5750/5750G

In this video I show how to upgrade the cpu, ram and hdd of my notebook, in this case the Acer aspire 5750G.
I upgraded the cpu with an i7-2640m and the old hdd with an ssd from Crucial.

what was the processor before the upgrade?
Was the TDP of the old processor lower than the new one?
If so, did it not cause overheating?
I have a motherboard with socket 988b rpga, and an i5 2410m processor with 35w tdp, I'm thinking of changing to a 45w processor.
Could this cause me a lot of trouble? what is your opinion?

its a i3 2330m. 4gbddr3
i guess its at least 8 years old or more, still running stock. although i don't use it much. but i am thinking to upgrade few items and have linux run on it..
