I'm Malay Malaysian and I observed that Mr. Wong's intonation and overall speech in Malay were very good.. but I must say Mr. Lee's speeches in Malay were the best I've listened so far ... anyway, wishing him all the best..

He should not be mastering Malay but instead Mandarin, a language set to be the Singapore National Language in years to come. With more and more mainland Chinese buying property and real estate and settling down in Singapore, usage of Mandarin is of paramount importance.
