Yes having grown up in a rural community I was used to the closest hospital specialists labs etc. being an hour away but we did have a family doctor. I live in the Capital of BC now though and there are no family doctors to be had a people waiting years sometimes for specialists and surgeries etc. and hours in emergency rooms. So it certainly is a cross country issue now.
