Today's adventure - (we believe) is Utah's most shocking and unbelievable Rock Art, up close and personal! These petroglyphs are BY FAR the best, Curtis has ever seen. And he has seen and compared a lot of Native American ruins, and these ones are " pretty crazy". :)
This Historical Landmark is in Uintah Country, Utah - AKA, Dry Fork Canyon.

We met the landowner a few years back, and she took us around the property and told us many interesting stories about growing up here on her ranch. You could spend many hours here exploring because the characters you will see, all have a story to tell. They will give you chills , for sure!
One trail is under a mile long, with some steep and rocky parts but nothing to serious. Most of the Ancient Ruins represent the Fremont culture, anywhere from 1 A.D. - 1200 A.D. Some of the most impressive petroglyphs are 9ft tall and 200 high on sandstone cliffs. They were clearly documenting for a very long time, and you will leave there with a lot of unanswered questions.

Ironically - Curtis ran into the property owner again( for a second time) and had the pleasure of speaking with her. She showed him around and let him explore "the PIT house" and view some of her Relics... Luckily he didn't get STUCK going down in the pit house - almost though lol..

Afterward, Curtis wraps up his time at the McConkie Ranch (which some say is haunted ) to head out and find camp for the night . It's hard to believe you're winter camping in Utah - in February, when it's warm outside. Not the same as Arizona, but still nice for where he was. Now it's starting to get dark, so time to do an another amazing time lapse, get a campfire going and make dinner.

His final destination is a short travel on Bonanza Highway. Taking you on a backcountry trail to Fantasy Canyon. This nature trip is so breath-taking and will also leave you to speculate, and become speechless. It's absolutely incredible. Discovered by a paleontologist in 1909 (allegedly)- it is stunning.

Hope you enjoyed this video and even more , you hope you'll come back soon. Thanks!

Curtis and Chantel
