My mom went through recently the experimental trial of targeted radiation at the tumor. The mammogram found the cancer early at stage 1. She got one treatment, no side effects, and 7 months later got the lumpectomy, and no sign of cancer after pathology looked at the lymph nodes. Hopefully that will be it, but I am glad that my mother got care at the best cancer hospital.
