Emmet Cohen and Samara Joy are delicious together. Ms. Joy is one of the best around today. Billy Holiday, Eda Fitzgerald, Etta James, Sarah Vaugh, Diana Washington, Lena Horne, Shirley, Bassie, Nancy Wilson, and Nina Simone, would be so proud.
So many talented singers through the generations both black and white and mixtures of many colors and races from all countries that love music, Jazz, and blues.
Thank you for this concert with so much nostalgic music and lyrics in memory. Stunning Ms. Joy is, with Mr. Cohen's piano a luscious delight.

Emmett is a beast on the keys and Samara is a joy to experience live. I recently had that wonderful time of being in the same room with the poised and gifted young lady. Between the two of them; I had to chuckle, on whose beautiful tresses took more work in arranging. The package is complete: tasty and artfully shared. It is especially heartening to see these young folks putting in the work. Bravo!!
