Hey, Im 15 and was born with a class 3 underbite and 3 years ago I got braces to fix my underbite along with elastics. Overtime it started to come back and I have an underbite. My orthodontist said to wait 1 year because I’m growing, but I want to get braces I can fix it again. And at least this time wearing my retainer more often. What should I do?

i'm now leaving mine in if i have something soft like yoghurt, banana etc. then after i eat i immediately go and take them out and clean teeth and trays. this just means rather than having to go to bathroom to take them out, come back and eat quickly, and then going back to bathroom to brush, floss and put trays back in, all i do is eat, then go to bathroom to take them out, brush, floss, rinse trays, and out them back in at same time. so i can wear them for longer, and i'm not too concerned about cavities as i'm brushing pretty much right after i eat anyway. i don't have really hot, cold, crunchy, or hard things with them in.

What if I am going out for a few drinks, I tend to drink vodka and redbull, is it ok to take your retainer out for 2 to 3 hours?
