Charles was so dutiful that he not only paid very dearly with his life and happiness, Diana’s, the press and certain sectors of the public demonized him and the good he had done and was trying to do for the people. This is not a tragic love story. Camilla quite simply loved Andrew Parker Bowles and married the older more experienced man. Charles was in his early 20s whereas Parker Bowles was in his 30s.

I wish he was allowed to marry Camilla from the beginning. Diana would not have lived thru an unhappy marriage and such tragic death.

Both would have been happy in their respective lives.

Queen could have just asked Charles to forfeit his right to be the king if she did not want Camilla to be a queen
