for someone's who is 45 in Gold Hoarder, 39 in Order of souls, and 20 merchant alliance, this is helpful

Did it in around 80 hours. Gold Hoarders and Merchants I farmed Sea Forts and for Order of Skulls I did Skeleton Forts/Strongholds when I hit 35. Also played with friends on Thursdays and did whatever voyages we felt like. Was a grind but I enjoyed it. Probably better ways of doing it, but this worked for me playing solo!

I used shrines to get as good amount and I do like being in purple as it unlocks the option to stuff you dead enemies mainly the salty kids into costume chest

You forgot thw fact that almost every merchant item has specific conditions that cannot be done such as the cloth getting wet watering plants feeding pigs and more only to get a few coins compared to any other mission

I kinda got lucky in season 8 to get pirate legend and as I got enough gold built up I bought a sloop to help me sell faster for the 3 alliances at any outpost
