I came in deadstick with my B-25J due to the ESCs not being calibrated correctly. No power below 50%. I was lucky.

I always check the motor power before taking off

A pre run up with it being a different esc would have prevented that.

It looks like the crash had nothing to do with the Wind. A little bit of pilot error

Why takeoff if your shit isnt setup properly? But more than that, learn to 'feel' the plane, if you have to keep feeding in up elevator, your getting slower..
