I drive from London to Nuremberg twice a year and it's easily done in one go in 10h. Also even my BMW X1 20d did 150mph and last time I took a C30 D5 and that topped out at 155mph.
I think any reasonable cat with 170+ bhp can do 150mph. Next year going to buy an e39 535i and see how quick that can go. Love your show either way.

as an American who has driven on the autobahn, it's an unreal experience to be able to put your car flat to the floor and once hit max speed hit cruise control and click it up and leave the car like that for hours traveling through Germany
