I love the intellectual honesty we always get from Dr. Barnard. He doesn't neglect to remind us the confirmation bias which often affects studies, even when such studies are aligned with his own views.

I really appreciate Neal's conservative, cautious approach when recommending supplements. There's no exaggerated hype, just sticking close to the scientific facts. Thank you!

Ever since I started eating off Dr.Barnard's plate (a year & a bit), my biomarkers have gone through the roof (downward). (Chol 230 to 118, LDL 120 to 56, Triglycerides 150 to 53, a1c 5.6 to 4.7). These WFPB doctors are telling the public the truth 🙏🙏🙏 when they could make a ton of $$$ through procedures & drugs. I am grateful.

Thank you so much for acknowledging transplant recipients. Not everyone starts with the ability to have a normally functioning immune system. My husband received a kidney transplant as a teenager, and his transplant will turn twenty this year. His doctors are always amazed how well he’s still doing. We do all we can through a WFPB diet and exercise, etc. However, his health needs are different, and there are a lot of problems that come from having a transplant that can’t be controlled through diet alone.

Chuck please do more interviews on the many benefits of fasting. It seems the keto crowd is cornering the market on this as most videos on YouTube that promote fasting also promote the keto lifestyle. There are enormous proven health benefits from fasting. I believe fasting coupled with whole plant food diet is the ultimate 1-2 punch for good health and longevity!

Another brilliant and informative video, Dr Barnard explains things so well, thank you! I've been on a very low fat WFPB diet for over a year and my ME and menopause symptoms have completely gone, I'm no longer depressed but actually very positive despite life being just as difficult for the time being, I can cope better and I can look forward to the future.

Thank you! "Healthy range" for so many labs (WBC) (BMI) are based on most people eating garbage. It would be great to have studies done with a whole plant exclusive column so we could see our true and proper "normal"

Yeah, I used to have colds and runny nose all year round even during summer, thin and sickly when I was not eating healthy. Now, my colds are gone and if I get them, they go away quickly. I've also gained more weight and if my health continues to improve, I plan to donate blood too.

Thanks! I love listening to these podcasts, these are really very informative! I’ve a quick question. Can I use nutritional yeast for vitamin B12? It’s got other B vitamins too.
