I love when I see pigeons casually walking around subway stations. They have a "what you lookin at?" vibe. I think they're pretty rad birds!

My son and I used to feed the local pigeons. One began to recognise us, and it would go onto my sons shoulder or arm when we bought it seeds and such. A few others would do this too, and it got the attention of passers-by.
People would then ask us if we could get a pigeon on them, and take pictures etc. It was heart warming to see these birds finally get some appreciation.
They're really sweet birds if you bother to treat them as more than a pest!

That wing action tells me she is very young, or remembers being very young, because babies drop their heads and twist them around to look up, while gently fluttering their wings. Pigeon sounds are wonderfully soothing! ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

It wasn't until I moved to a city for my job, that I really began to look closely at the pigeons. They really are a handsome bird, when one takes the time to really notice them in detail, instead of just passing them by as being sky rats. Some of the coloring on them is fascinating to me.

I interpret this bread loaf stance as "Ohhhh woe is me, I'm TOTALLY injured! If only a human could give me pets to cure my ails!" (Or is this a "take me now" mating pose lol). I also love how they're twitching their wing like a happy dog wags their tail. Super cute <3
