I’ve had upper right quadrant abdominal pain for 6 months now! It all began with weird stomach noises, followed by 1 week of constipation. I tried cutting out all bad foods, sugars, gluten etc. lost about 25lbs the first month. Was referred to a GI who performed every test I can think of (colonoscopy, EGD, fibro Scan, Hida Scan, stool tests, blood work etc). My stool fat stain test showed abnormal fat absorption. Blood tests revealed folate levels 5 times higher than normal range.
As my symptoms progresses I started feeling intoxicated/foggy in my brain. My blood ammonia levels were tested and can back elevated (10-12 points higher than standard range). I developed a lump in my right armpit. Had ultrasound and found out it was 2 swollen lymph nodes. Had a biopsy and they came back non malignant.
To date, I still don’t have many answers, and no diagnosis. I know I have inflammation in my stomach, small intestine, lymph nodes. I have uncomfortable pain in right upper quadrant. I’ve never been sick this long in my life. I AM NOT A DRINKER NOR A DRUG USER. Aside from bad eating habits, I’m typically a healthy, active guy. Very difficult to deal with all this

I'm having this very uncomfortable pain in my upper belly, took all kinds of tests like LFT, Lipid, ultrasound, stool occult, scea, fibroscan. But the result shows fatty liver with fibroscan result 8.5 median. Doctor said The liver is doing quite OK and the pain might be from overthinking and stress. But trust me I've had much stress in life and never felt like this ever before. This is very disturbing, The pain will start right from the morning when i wake up and goes on forever. It's distracting me from all regular works and I'm not able to concentrate on anything. Please Suggest me if theres anything to cure this thing. The pain is more like heaviness on my right belly and its there like all the time. I need help

I used to be a heavy drinker for 20+ years and 2 and a half years ago I started getting pain in my right quadrant so I went to the ER! My Amylase and Lipase levels were a bit high and they diagnosed me with Acute Pancreatitis! Scared me to death! They didn’t even keep me overnight which was strange! Just told me to cut back on alcohol! I did one even better and completely quit! I continued to feel pain even 6 months later in those same areas despite quitting drinking! My doctor performed blood tests, CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray! All normal findings! Normally people would be happy but I knew they were missing something! I stopped getting pain up until 2 weeks ago I started getting pain AGAIN in those same exact areas! I made a doctor’s appointment yesterday! It’s been 2 years since my tests that were all normal! Haven’t had a drink since my AP diagnosis! What is going on? I’m so confused!

I’ve had sporadic upper right quadrant abdominal dull pain for a little over a year. My lipase has been higher than normal when tested but all other blood work, kidney function is good. They (Kaiser) haven't found anything wrong in scans either. I'm 54, I am fit, run, cycling weights, and eat a healthy, no sugar, no alcohol, low carb diet.

I've had consistent RUQ pain for about 12 years now. Mention to my doctor most times I'm there. Had an ultrasound about 10 years ago and have been ignored since.

Can you please offer me some advice, I have had pain underneath my rib cage and sternum area as well. I had my gallbladder removed a couple of years ago as well. I had an endoscopy, MRI, and Kat scan so far and nothing is showing. I have this terrible burning sensation and cramping feeling on my right upper quadrant area. If I strain in a workout it aggravates it, and also when I eat.
I just don't know what to do? It hurts when I am sitting down, and when I tie my shoes the bending forward seems to pinch the area. At times I can press the burning spot. It's very uncomfortable.
Thank you for any help you might have!

CT scan, bloodwork, & 3 MRIs - still no answers. Making monthly payments on the tests, though.
