Fantastic, Ronnie. Now I could use the "talk" or "speak" either way with confidence.

Actually, I think 'talk' and 'speak' have differences beyond the one you mentioned. Usually, when people have a conversation with someone, they say they "talked" to them. Generally, the only time they say they "spoke" to someone is when they had a brief conversation. 'Speak' is usually used as a way of saying to express or convey thoughts through the utterance of words. Most often, it refers to remarking on something or stating some sort of information (e.g. Obama intends to speak about the financial crisis at Stanford University). 'Talk', on the other hand, implies a less simplistic intention, such as conversing with someone (e.g. I like to talk about politics with my friends). Damn, this is hard to explain.

Dear Ronnie,

I am very happy to listen your English lessons, it really helps me to work on my knowledge on the particular language since my native language is not English. I just heard one lesson about Gerund and Infinitive, You said don't use "To +ing together with noun or verb. I am practicing English grammar online test for My Toefl exam. But When I am clicking and submitting my answer, it says wrong..and the answer that they are providing like " to swimming, to performing etc...so am I wrong or is there any other rules to use it? please give me a solution. I am really thankful to you for your help. Can you please arrange one more class in advanced grammar and also give me a clear idea about Gerund and Infinitive ...
