This is the most civil a Israeli vs Palestinian debate will ever get.

I thought the pro-palestine AI was going to have the stronger argument in the second round, but then it immediately went "Palestinian law treated jews as second class citizens and oppressed them with extra taxes." Pro-Iseael soundly won all 3 rounds.

The area wasn’t known as Palestine until named later by Rome as a slap in the face. Even then, a Palestine wasn’t a people but rather an area.

The pro Palestinian AI did a better job than all pro Palestinian debaters I have seen. However, it still lost.

I love how there's so many people arguing over the whole Israel-Palestine thing, and then there's just one guy asking for a pineapple on pizza debate😂🙏🏻

Very interesting. Never seen an AI debate before.
I couldn't help but notice that the pro-Palestine AI was kind of flip flopping between arguments... First arguing that the Israelite statehood did not negate the right of the earlier native groups, making an earlier occupancy argument. Then went on to argue that the displacement of the Israelites and their replacement with an Arab majority gave the Arabs legitimacy over the Israeli claims. Then switched once again, arguing that the displacement of the Arabs and their replacement with a Jewish majority is what undermines the Israeli claims.
To me, this inconsistency and double standard, which ironically is consistent with most pro-Palestinian arguments I've heard, is what lost the pro-Palestine side the debate...

No such thing as a Palestinian Arab identity before the 1960's. How come the Jewish AI didn't call that out immediately?

Afghani here. Like everybody knows, Afghanistan was once Buddhist, Taliban destroyed those huge buddha statues. most buddhist left Afghanistan. If you ask me if they are ever allowed to come back to their ancient ground, the answer is pretty simple:
of course

This whole Middle Eastern conflict is so stupid.

Pro Palestinian AI switches arguments completely to make an argument at 16:00 that it originally argued against?

In the first round, the Palestinian AI referred to the Palestinians as Cannanites. The Cannanites were ancient pagans who inhabited the land. But what do they have in common with modern-day "Palestinians"? Some DNA? Palestinians are probably not the only people in the Middle East who share these ancient Cannanite genes, including Jews. However, the pro Israel side is talking about JEWS. An ancient people who still exist today and practice the same religion and speak the same language. unlike the pagan Cannanites who disappeared into history.

Did the Pro-Palestinian AI just claim Palestinians as Canaanites? Let's be real, the overwhelming majority of "Palestinians" didn't come from the Levant, they came from the Arabian Peninsula and/or Egypt and speak Arabic.

It appears even the AI model is trying to make a connection from the Philistine and Palestinians. This would be false. Philistines were of Greek ancestry. Also, modern Palestinians are not all from that area, mostly from Egypt and other Arab lands.

As soon as the pro-Palestinian AI tried to claim a link between Palestinians and Philistines, it completely lost me.

Interesting that the blue bot never brought up the fact that many Muslim's live inside of Israel with no issue, no Jews live inside of Hamas, or other Muslim controlled areas in the region without issue.

I don't understand why the pro-palesinian AI is claiming Palestinians to be the Caananites in the first 1/3rd of the debate? Jews, whether they like it or not, stemmed from the Caananites

Pro palestine AI gives arguments while Pro Israel AI gives both arguments and historical proves.

Bottom line is that the world has 49 Muslim majority countries, so the most discriminated group in human history deserves 1 tiny country the size of New Jersey to call home and avoid the patterns of discrimination they’ve faced over thousands of years.

The problem with the conflict today is that while Israel DOES accept the solution of sharing the land HAMAS does not
