for me it was the opposite! i was so insecure that i felt too ugly to embrace my feminine side n was worried boys wouldn’t like me if i was “too girly” ): realizing i was bi actually allowed me to express my femininity more cuz the whole “not like other girls” thing instantly became void bc not only am i very girly, but i also literally LIKE other so yea i am much more comfortable in my femininity now !! LOL
