Thank you so much for sharing this really interesting video related towards what to expect at a Passover Seder. Passover begins on Friday, April 15, the same day as Good Friday in the Christian faith. You did the most wonderful job explaining what to except at a Passover Seder, I totally love your personality Marion and your videos make me really happy! 😍

I've been hosting seders since I left home for college. Especially my first year I was very stressed reading through every haggadah I could find to make sure nothing is missed and the order is right, and making lists upon lists to make sure I had everything. But it's always worth it! Even when I'm the only jewish person there it's been incredibly meaningful.

I was in Armenia El Salvador last July, and I experienced 100% converts, practicing Sephardi tradition. Thank goodness for the ability to travel freely BH

I love when all of the holidays happen around the same time. Jewish and Christian. I work in the food store. So I guess to see the hustle to get everything ready!!!

Another good reason to snack before Seder is that you have the first two cups of wine before dinner! But a newcomer should also know that the purpose of the wine is not to get drunk (like on Purim), and most hosts will offer grape juice as a non-alcoholic option.

I never celebrated pesach as a child. Through adult Hebrew education I now celebrate 🎉🎉 as an adult.

Great ideas! I think the only caveat I’d add is the dress code probably depends on where you live. I live in a part of the country where I’d be shocked if someone came to my house all dressed up for any event, because it’s super casual here. But I’m sure in the east coast dressing up is much more common! So dress how you would fit thanksgiving dinner is my advice :)

As a child my family went a unitarian church and we learned about both Christian and Jewish holidays and customs we even had a Seder and as kid I had to ask one of the four questions

Excellent advice, all the way. I was lucky enough to participate in an online seder last night, with all the guests on Zoom connected from their homes in different cities. I hope to get to do one in person next year or so, given the chance. Since ours was online, there was no outright joyous singing, and we didn't have children running around trying to find that one piece of matzah, but all the other elements were there. Our host walked us through all the steps.

We're hosting Passover this year. Even though I've seen it done, watching your videos has helped us prepare! Thank you so much and Chag Sameach!

Thank you so much for this video on Seder- I am non-Jewish and it’s my 1st invitation - I clearly felt excited to receive the invitation but also thought you had to be Jewish to attend- Now, after viewing your video I will walk in with confidence- Thank you!

We always invited my non Jewish Neighbors with my family it was so much fun, if the children at Sedar answered a question they got a prize. I miss this so much it's a sad time of year for me.

Thank you so much for sharing. I truly enjoy learning about Jewish customs/traditions. I am a Christian that feels it is very important to learn about Judaism.

I am going to a Chabad seder Friday. I don't have family and no invites to go to anyone in my community so Chabad it is. Excited and nervous!! Chabad is welcoming.
