VTEC Cylinder Head Clean & Assemble | Satisfying Timelapse

In this video, we clean and assemble a PO8 sohc vtec cylinder head from a Honda D16Z6 engine in a timelapse style video.
In the previous video on this topic, we cleaned up the valves, polished the exhaust ports and painted the head.
This time we disassemble every component to clean and then reassembled.

I know this video is old. But I’m looking to rebuild my D16Z6 soon. What is a good tool to install and remove the valve keepers? I know there are a lot of great tools for B-series engine. But I haven’t seen any specifically for D-series. Thanks and great content!

Longshot but how do I know that my head is at tdc (d16y8) but by looking at the cam? I removed the gear and now I don’t know where I should set it
